Macaulie Leather, is a name synonymous with victory in the world of professional bull riding. From claiming the title of YBR World Champion to dominating the NZRCA circuit as Champion, he already has an impressive array of accolades.

At 21, Macaulie Leather packed up his things in Calliope, central Queensland, last year and moved 600km south to chase his dream of becoming a professional bull rider.

Macaulie started riding at nine-years-old when he got on a calf at a local show. From that pivotal moment, he has steadfastly believed that the key to distinguishing oneself as a champion lies in one's mindset.

Growing up as one of 15 siblings, competition runs thick among the Leather sibling with younger siblings hot on Macaulie's heels in the bull riding arena.

Among Macaulie's accolades, the title of 2021 Rookie of the Year stands out prominently. However, his crowning achievement came in 2023 when he clinched the prestigious title of PBR Australian Champion, marking a career high that solidified his status as one of the sport's elite talents.
